Booking Conditions

  1. The Town House Apartment is available on a holiday-let agreement for a maximum of four persons. Children must be over 10 years of age.

  2. A booking is for the exclusive use of the property for the dates booked, running from 4pm on the agreed date of arrival to 10am on the agreed date of departure. A booking is regarded as complete only when we are in receipt of a completed booking form together with the appropriate payment and you have received our written conformation. Unless otherwise agreed bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday (7 days).

  3. Payment: A deposit is required when booking, which will be refunded shortly after departure and return of keys providing there is no damage to the property (fair wear and tear accepted), no breakage’s and the apartment is left in a reasonable state of cleanliness. We reserve the right to make a service charge if this is found not to be the case. The rent quoted is inclusive of VAT, gas and electricity and is for the hire of the property – charges are not per person. Payment of rent must be made in full 6 weeks before the due date of arrival. No reminder will be sent and no refunds considered out with the cancellation conditions (details overleaf).

  4. How to pay! Payment should be made by cheque to The Town House Apartment. We do not accept payment by credit card. Guests from out with the U.K. can pay by Eurocheque or by Bank transfer where they agree to meet any bank charges.

  5. Arrival: Prior to your holiday please phone Mrs. Susan Virtue to advise of your estimated time of arrival. Arrangements can then be made for your ‘check in’ and car parking.

  6. Departure: On ‘checking in’, you should finalise arrangements for your departure. You can chose to meet with Mrs. Virtue at 10:00am to hand over the keys or if requiring to leave earlier, by depositing the keys through the letterbox. Either way, all breakage’s or damage must be reported prior to departure.

  7. Note: Should the property become unavailable through any cause (such as fire, tempest, flood etc) then the proprietor’s liability is limited to the amount of rent paid.

The proprietor cannot accept responsibility or be liable for any loss or damage to person or property whilst on the premises or for any costs incurred by persons due to traveling delays or alterations. Guests should therefore check their own holiday insurance.

Cancellation Conditions

On receipt of the completed booking form and deposit of £100 for each week, conformation of your booking will be sent, together with an invoice for the balance due. The balance is due for payment, 6 weeks prior to your arrival date.

If notice of cancellation is received 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of your stay, the deposit will be returned in full. Where less than 6 weeks notice is given, any refund is subject to there being a re-let of the property.
